About Calvary Chapel Camp Verde
We started in 1988 with a few people meeting for a weekly bible study. To make room for others who wanted to join us we purchased and remodeled the historic property at our present location which was built in 1917 as a store.

We are part of a worldwide fellowship of nondenominational churches, usually, but not always, called Calvary Chapel. This fellowship started in Costa Mesa, California in 1965 under the late Pastor Chuck Smith. Our main goal is to know our God and Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ and to worship Him.
Our Beliefs
We believe in one true and living God and that He is Creator of all.
We believe that He eternally exists in three persons: God the Father, our Lord Jesus Christ, His only Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the only infallible rule of faith and practice. Therefore in our services, we emphasize Bible teaching so God may instruct us how He would have us to live and worship.
We believe worship of God is our highest appointment; therefore we give great place to inspirational music in our services.
We believe worship of God is fruitful; therefore we look for expressions of godly love toward each other as the greatest evidence that we are truly worshiping Him.
